ABOUT THE SITE
The festival theatre square is located in the city centre of Edinburgh. It is a triangle space enclosed by buildings. Due to the concealment, people easily get confused by this place as private or public. Thus few people are using this small scale square and they normally just passing through it.

PROBLEM
· Lack of clarity of space functional arrangement.
· Insufficient lighting system, lack of security at night.

SOLUTION
· Lighting system installed both in paving and structures.
· By adding perfermance area to have multiple functions.
· More sheltered space with greenary provided to invite more people to stay.
